Do you have a generic example of each kind of report? I asked my representative to follow your directions to get a status report for my claim (which is at the Appeals Council for the second time). What I received back was a very, very vague set of information that contained a single row of table data including my name, the last 4 digits of my ss#, "Pending Analyst Assignment 10/18/2012", Falls Church VA, empty column, Yes, 10/18/2012, No

This can't possibly be a complete report. It tells me nothing. The date shown has to be the date the Appeals Council received or entered my request for review into their system. This is no status update to me.

Did my representative follow the correct instructions?
