The SSA has recently published a list of phone numbers for its processing centers. Disability cases for claimants under age 54 are at the Office of Disability Operations (ODO) and phone numbers are divided according to the first five digits of the claimant’s SSN. Disability cases for claimants age 54 and older are at the Processing Service Centers. Some PSCs use the first few digits of the claimant’s SSN, and some use the last four digits.

The Processing Centers process the disability payments, once a favorable decision or determination has been made. Of course, you can always find the correct payment center by calling the Social Security automated file locator.
